The 2 key deliverables to this initiative were consolidation and portability. The first objective was to normalize over 20 discreet databases. This was met by developing a common data architecture and retrofitting the data.

The second objective of portability and remote access was met by developing web based client tools to enable access to a central repository via the internet.

The true measure of the success of this initiative is a 40% reduction in operating costs coupled with a simulaneous improvement of quality [and accuracy] of content and greater efficiencies in getting product [content] to the marketplace.
